MIS MBA
The MIS Department offers the core MBA course MIST 6090 - Management Information Systems.
It also offers the following courses to support MBA concentrations.
- MIST 7601 - Data Management (1.5 credits)
- MIST 7770 - Data Warehouses and Mining (1.5 credits)
- MIST 7690 - Business Process Management (3 credits)

- We have 40 MBAs with a concentration in MIS (average GMAT of 630).

- We have four MIS concentrations: Electronic Commerce, MIS Professional, Internet Technologies and Decision Support Systems.
- Courses include: RAD, database, decision support systems, telecommunications and networking, information resource management, expert systems, electronic commerce, data warehousing, groupware, globalization and IT, and groupware.
- We have a custom-designed on-campus/off-campus MBA program for a leading global management consulting firm (PricewaterhouseCoopers).
- Several of our faculty have won awards for outstanding teaching (Bostrom, H. Watson, R. Watson). Some have won multiple UGA teaching awards (Brohman).
