Gail DeCosta
Gail is a senior business analyst, specializing in process redesign at Advanced Strategies, Inc. She has an incredible 24-year career facilitating process analysis sessions for numerous Fortune 500 companies and government agencies for IT projects, as well as on large business reengineering efforts. She teaches techniques that can be used on everyday projects to the more complex, using a staged-approach to process analysis that was used on major projects such as the redesigning of the NY State Central accounting system, defining requirements for the National Cancer Surveillance registry and many others complex, critical initiatives. Gail holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brown University and a Master's Degree in Education for Georgia State University.
Fran Caggiano-Swenson, CBAP
Fran has more than ten years experience in the analysis, design, and development of systems utilizing a variety of business analysis techniques, including process improvement, organization redesign, systems and functional, and data analysis. As a senior consultant and facilitator for Advanced Strategies, she has led numerous analysis efforts for Fortune 500 and large government entities as well as teaching all of the business analysis courses. Fran is a certified business analysis professional through the International Institute of Business Analysis, and has spoken at several IIBA and 'BA World' events, and is one of the co-authors of the Business Analysis for Everyday Project Course. Fran teaches business analysis at the 'everyday' level to facilitation for process analysis sessions for major, complex projects.
